On December 12, Beijing time, Taolon officially released a new 10-1 HDMI dual screen MST expansion docking, the whole machine in accordance with aluminum alloy metal material and blind hole heat dissipation design, ensure 8K HDMI high image transmission and 10Gbps USB 3.2 high-speed transmission rate at the same time, It can also effectively reduce the temperature brought by the chip, and has rich interface parameters, as shown in the following table:

* [1] 8K mode of HDMI-1 can only be used if the signal source is equipped with DP2.0 protocol. Currently, only WindowsOS is supported, and only 4K60Hz is supported under MacOS.

* [2] HDMI-1+2 dual-port output 4K60 can be used only when the signal source is equipped with DP2.0 protocol. Currently, only WindowsOS can use MST mode (expand different screen), while MacOS uses SST mode (expand the same screen).

What is the MST/SST model?

The following diagram shows the MST mode

(1) When A laptop (A) is WindoswOS system, when connected to one monitor (B/C) or two monitors (B) and (C), either mode can be selected when a single monitor is set. However, in two monitors, selecting extended mode means that the picture can be extended to an external monitor. And display different screen (namely MST mode), equal to you can write files on the laptop, use (B) monitor to play your favorite video, at the same time use (C) monitor to view the preview page, and if you choose the copy mode, (B) and (C) monitor will display the screen of the laptop (A);

(2) When you use A laptop (A) with MacOS system, you can also choose the extended mode or the copy mode when connecting one monitor (B/C) or two monitors (B) and (C). You can choose either mode when using a single monitor, but when using two monitors, If you choose the extended mode, it means that the screen can be put into the monitor (B) and (C), but the screen of the two monitors will be the same (SST mode), while if you choose the copy mode, the monitor (B) and (C) will display the screen of the notebook (A).
